Scava, scava! | Dig, dig!
Initially children will be offered experiences together with the educators:
– either outdoors searching for flowers, shells, toads, worms and small insects hidden under
logs, soil and leaves; searching both with the naked eye and with the help of magnifying glasses
magnifying glasses and digging with their hands and shovels (in the garden and park).
– both inside by proposing Montessori-type games, pictures and photos (including of the
children) glued to the base of trays and covered with white or yellow flour, or other
material.// research games will also be proposed in the two immersive rooms:
the confetti one and the salt one (pictures of animals hidden under the confetti and the
salt).
In the end with digital we will make two game proposals:
1) overhead projector: pictures of insects and natural elements discovered in the previous months
outside by the children, glued to the base of the overhead projector and hidden with flour
yellow flour, the children will discover them with their fingers or brush.
2) Making use of the Scratch program (known during the Coo.de training course)
the educator will prepare a game for the children. They will be able to play the game not in front of the
computer, but making use of the projector we will exploit the image on the wall.
Moving the mouse slowly we will discover photos hidden under a curtain, the
photos will be those of the children and experiences in the previous months.
