
Seminar “Digital Skills – A Ladder to Your Growth”
On March 26 from 10:00 to 12:00, the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), the project “EPALE National Support Service” (EPALE) and “National Coordinators for Promoting Participation in Adult Education in Latvia” (National Coordinators) are organizing a seminar “Digital Skills – A Ladder to Your Growth”.
The seminar is organized in cooperation with the Latvian Information and Communication Technology (LIKTA) Association, the State Education Development Agency, the Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development, and the International Youth Programme Agency.
The following topics will be covered during the seminar:
Skills needed in the digital age,
Determining the level of digital skills,
Creating an individual digital skills learning path,
Skills management platform stars.gov.lv ,
Development of public digital skills within the framework of a project implemented by the Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development,
Digital work with youth in municipalities.
Every citizen is invited to participate in the seminar in order to be able to assess the need and importance of digital skills in personal growth and to obtain information about the opportunities for acquiring these skills. Adult education implementers, municipal adult education coordinators, digital skills trainers and mentors, as well as every education professional and policy maker are also invited to participate in the seminar.
The seminar will take place in a hybrid format – in person in Riga (location to be specified) and anyone interested, upon prior registration, will have the opportunity to follow the seminar remotely. To apply for the seminar both in person and remotely, you must register by March 23 by filling out the questionnaire HERE .
Registration for the in-person seminar will close once the maximum number of in-person participants is reached.
The seminar is being held as part of “Digital Week 2025”.
