Let’s talk about GenAI!: Ehancing equity and inclusion with the use of AI

“Let’s talk about GenAI!“ series aims to bring experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence together with educators, teachers, and trainers for informal discussion, Q&A sessions, and resource sharing.

In this session we will discuss the use of AI in enhancing equity and inclusion. Together with the invited expert, Héctor Martinez, we will cover different aspects, such as how can AI technologies be used to address inequities and promote inclusion in education, share concrete examples of success successful AI applications that have contributed to fostering equity, but also discuss challenges and limitations.

About the speaker:

Héctor Martínez is a social integrator and an educational recreation professional with broad experience in recreational education projects, as well as an enthusiast of the new technologies and a dedicated expert on education. He derives great enjoyment from creativity and from painting in his unrestrained personal style.

In 2017 he travelled to Colombia, where he has continued his work in the STEAM fields through a robotics and programming academy. At present he collaborates on several competitions and initiatives worldwide involving educational robotics and programming.

In his leisure time he enjoys running, watching basketball, working as a referee, reading comics and taking walks with his dog.
