How to use AI in practice

On May 23, 2024, another beneficial conference took place in the unconventional premises of iQLANDIA in Liberec. The target group was representatives of companies from the Liberec and Hradec Kralove regions and the topic was How to use AI in practice. Artificial intelligence was presented in many ways – its start and fast grow, its influence on the whole society, big opportunities and threads for companies related to AI, practical case studies of AI usage and help in companies. 

The event was co-organized by the Technical University of Liberec, a consortium partner of our EDIH Northeast Bohemia. The conference was moderated by Mrs. Nadia Vojtíšková from the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, and the opening speech was given by Jiří Ulvr, member of the Liberec Regional Council responsible for the management of the Department of Economic and Regional Development, European Projects, Spatial Planning and Rural Development. Other speakers at the conference included Jan Kočí, who also introduced our EDIH, Jiří Vraný and Pavel Tyl from the Technical University of Liberec and representatives of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and IBM, CzechInvest, Nullspaces, Trask, Softli and Škoda auto.
