PechaKucha Night – Homo Technologicus

PechaKucha Night is a wellknown format which follows the 20×20 rule, where each presentation consists of 20 slides, and each slide is displayed for only 20 seconds, automatically progressing to the next one. This results in a total presentation time of 6 minutes and 40 seconds. Our event hosted 12 speakers,

The future is technological. Is it? And what role do humans play in that? We believe it’s significant. Ever since the conquest of fire, it has been a matter of how we adopt our inventions, what we use them for and how we use them. At the thirteenth PechaKucha Night in Liberec, we allowed ourselves a slight glimpse into the future. We had 12 speakers from many different professions. We touched on a diverse mix of topics from education to industry to the non-profit sector. From archaeology to artificial intelligence. Our speakers’ stories took audience to the burning issues of today, such as sustainable energy, but also to topics decades away, such as the human landing on Mars.
