Innovative connections and virtual ecosystems.

AnciLab, in collaboration with ADOK, participates in the new edition of Fuorisalone 2024, which unfolds through a series of meetings dedicated to local authorities and enthusiasts of the Metaverse.

From April 15th to 18th, 2024, ADOK and ANCILAB propose four days dedicated to the blending of art, journalism, urban innovation, and design with digital technology, to demonstrate how new technologies can support various sectors of society. The speeches and workshops are dedicated to skill development in this context with the aim of promoting multidisciplinary education.

Regarding the development of news to support communication services and editorial services, the appointment of April 15th is dedicated to “The challenges of artificial intelligence between information and communication,” which presents some testimonies on the practical use of AI, such as that of the journalist and podcaster Federica Capozzi.

Within the framework of urban space design, the meeting on April 16th, “New dimensions of design: metaverse, AI, and accessible innovation,” discusses how new technologies can simplify the procedures for the restoration and updating of cities.

In recent years, it has become evident how artificial intelligence is a formidable expressive method, currently well integrated into the contemporary artistic sector. For this reason, on April 17th, the company Angelino Artwork, also the author of the monumental installation “Needle, thread, and knot” by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen located at Piazzale Cadorna, will talk about the blend between virtual and public art in “Enhancing the landscape between physical and digital reality.”

Also within the artistic discourse, on April 18th, there is “Enhancement of the territory and connections between art and virtual reality,” in which the artist and professor at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Italo Chiodi, will talk about how digital technology can be a true medium for the creation of a virtual and interactive artwork.

The days from Friday, April 19th, to Sunday, April 21st, entitled “Metaverse and AI: connections between matter, virtual reality, and nature,” will be entirely dedicated to speeches and workshops to introduce a wide audience to the facets of the Metaverse and AI, resources fully integrated into the fields of business, design, art, and communication.
